I paint because I love the feeling of creativity, NO real message other than my delight in our beautiful world, the utter beauty of nature and the way it makes me feel. The peace and the glory of God/Goddess’s gift to us. I think we would all be happier if we stopped more and sang nature’s song with her and felt the love of our creator deep inside of ourselves and in the harmony of nature around us.
I began painting in my early twenties as a hobby when I was living in the splendor of Oregon’s pristine countryside. I took a brief oil painting class, painted my first oil painting when I was 21 and continued painting with my own observations & reflections…. and in a trial & error process.
I have recently studied palette knife techniques with my mentor and friend, Lucille DeThomas who I will be forever grateful to, for her encouragement and faith in my abilities to paint.

Painting has been a love of mine ever since, I dream some day of being a professional artist, spending my days recording the scenes, images I see and the colors I feel and sharing them with those who wish to enjoy them with me.

I am currently employed as a graphic designer and work fulltime on designing magazine pages and covers for Hi-Torque Publications.
